Vox AC-30 Top Boost 1967

Now available on consignment, a 1967 Vox AC30/6 Top Boost. 

This is a classic example of one of Vox’s most enduring and reliable amplifiers, rugged, powerful, and distinctive, AC30’s have been favourites for many years now. This particular example has been used extensively on the road and in the studio over the decades with a well known Australian guitarist.

Aside from a few minor regular component replacement of a few capacitors, tubes, and the on/off switch. this amp well reflects its life of care & careful usage, displaying original Weldon transformers, Celestion speakers, and most of its original caps.

Cosmetically as well it has been kindly looked after, very minimal damage to the Tolex is present, no tears or rips, merely a few scuffs. The grille cloth is virtually undamaged, and in general this amp this amp belies a life of careful, reliable use. 

At some stage, caring hands have added a small box for securing the original footswitch, and a second box for the power cable to sit snugly in. The amp has been recently serviced and is ready to play!
