Buying

We are always looking to buy quality vintage Gibson and Fender guitars from before 1970. We can travel to you whether you're local, interstate, or overseas taking the risks/difficulties out of selling a high end instrument.

Appraisals

We offer free appraisals to determine the make/year of production of your vintage guitar. You can do this by finding the contact section of the website and filling out the form. Contact us here.

We also offer formal written appraisals for value and insurance purposes on vintage guitars for $300.00 AUD. This involves an in-person inspection of the instrument(s) at our Gladesville showroom, and a written value and breakdown of the instrument.

Payments & Laybys

We offer a variety of payment methods for customers looking to purchase interstate or overseas. All payments are to be made in Australian dollars (AUD).

These include: Card Payments (1.6% fee), EFT/bank wire transfer via invoice.

We also offer laybys of up to 3 months. Please contact us for details.

Shipping

We offer shipping on all guitar sales within Australia at the following prices:

East Coast Mainland: $150

All other locations: $300 - contact us for a quote.

We also offer worldwide shipping – contact us for a quote.

All our guitars are professionally packed and shipped express worldwide. Each guitar is fully insured with signature on delivery. Amplifiers are pickup only.

Returns & Warranty

All instruments shipped within Australia have a 48-hour approval period for returns, no questions asked. This does not apply to consigned instruments or amplifiers. All amplifiers are sold as-is with no returns.

Consignment

We are now taking in consignments for vintage/high-end Gibson, Fender, Gretsch, Rickenbacker, and Martin guitars. Our sales commission is 16% of the final sale price including GST, with a minimum commission of $500. Minimum listing price is $2500 AUD for consignment pieces.

All instruments are to remain under our care when consigned. For best chance at a successful sale, we ask that you leave the instrument with us for at least 60 days. There is no hold period.

Security and Insurance

All consignment items are stored in our high security showroom and are fully insured whilst in our care.
