Tokai Springy Sound ST100 1980 2-tone Sunburst w Gold Hardware

Now available on consignment, a rare top of the line 1980 Tokai ST-100 with a gold hardware and a rosewood fingerboard.

This model represents the best of Tokai's stratocaster replicas from the 1980s having a nitrocellolose finish over ash body, low wind 50s style 'E' stamped pickups, and a V shaped neck profile.

This example though well played has remained unchanged since new except for a few pickguard screws, including its original frets and nut which still play surprisingly well. The all important '100' stamps are seen at the end of the fingerboard, and in the neck pocket.
