Sho Bud Maverick Pedal Steel

Now available on consignment, a circa 1974 Sho-Bud Maverick pedal steel. 

Introduced in the early 70’s as an entry-level/student model 10 string pedal steel, this model features a fairly plain layout of 3 foot pedals & one knee lever, and one single-coil pickup. 

Its fairly simple construction is solid, though plain, but the pine is in good condition. 

Cosmetically, the walnut-patterned covering is largely scuff free, and only one or two minor areas of corrosion are present on each end of the instrument. 

All in all this is a reliable pedal steel for those looking to start exploring the world of Nashville country steel.
