Now available on consignment, a 1964 Rickenbacker 6-string Rose Morris 1997 in its original fireglo finish!
This particular example comes from the 'DK' serial number range, which was among a batch of guitars built in late 1964.
As you can see its been well played for one of these, having some fade to the red of the sunburst, and NO breaks or repairs whatsoever. The only things to note is a professional refret at some point.
The frets show little wear, and it plays very well thanks to a recent setup. The neck angle is good as well, showing no signs of movement whatsoever. It plays with a low action at the 12th fret, and has a some break angle over the bridge.
Other than the frets, most of the original parts remain including both Toaster pickups, the original knobs and floating pickguard, double line Kluson deluxe tuners, bridge, and bridge cover. The wiring harness remains untouched with all 4x CTS pots dating to late 1964.
A great playing example of a 6-string Rose Morris 1997. Dont miss this one!
Includes its original case.
