Rickenbacker 425 Jetglo 1963

Now available on consignment, a 1963 Rickenbacker 425 in its original Jetglo finish.

This is a cool example of an early Rickenbacker 425, featuring its original Jetglo finish and with some cool history being previously owned by Andy Babuik who wrote the Beatle's Gear book.

As you can see its been played with a decent amount of wear on the original frets. There is a stress crack on the back of the body by the bass side of the heel, this is stable with no signs of separation and has been checked by Sydney luthier Piers Crocker. Otherwise the guitar is in original condition except for 3x replaced Kluson tuners (A, G, and B strings).
