Rickenbacker 4004L Laredo Bass 1993

Now available on consignment, a 1993 Rickenbacker 4004 “Laredo” bass guitar. 

This bass is an early 90’s offering from Rickenbacker, designed as a slimmed down version of their 4000 series basses, featuring their Maple neck-through body construction, Mahogany wings, Schaller tuners and bridge, humbucking pickups, jetglo finish, no binding, and a simple volume & tone & microswitch PU selector. 

There have been no modifications or changes to this bass, and it retains all original parts, despite its simple appearance, this is a very comfortable bass, lightweight and very easy to play. The neck is nice and straight, and plays easily. 

Cosmetically, aside from a few dings and dents out of the finish around the bass bout edges, there are no issues with the bass at all, it presents cleanly and has many more years to give.
