Now available on consignment, a 1996 PRS Custom 24.
This is a fairly well-used example of a mid 90’s PRS, featuring a nicely figured top in a very faded iced tea burst, a HFS humbucker in the bridge, and a Vintage Bass in the neck position.
There have been no modifications to this guitar aside from a rotary switch being replaced with a regular selector switch. This guitar retains its original frets as well.
Condition wise, this guitar is obviously well used, but cared for. There is a reasonable amount of buckle rash on the back, as well as a few dents and bumps, on the top there are a few knocks and dents, as well as some areas of rubbing around the treble horn. There is one noticeable dent on the treble side of the neck around the 11th fret, but this does not affect playability.
All in all this was obviously a much loved guitar, and upon playing it you can see why. It is chimey and clear, responding brightly and lyrically to both chords and notes, freshly set up & strung with 10-46, comes with OHSC.
