Mosrite Joe Maphis 1966

Now available on consignment, a 1966 Mosrite Joe Maphis model.

This model was built as a signature model for country and western artist Joe Maphis, featuring 2x Mosrite single coil pickups, a solid spruce top, walnut back, and a 2-piece maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. Cosmetically the guitar is in good shape showing a few minor dings mainly on the back of the guitar.

The guitar plays smoothly with a medium to low action, despite the very small frets and thin neck. Intonation is good thanks to the bridge design, and the tremolo works quite well. 

A rare clean example of this model!
