Lowden G7 Natural c.1980 Jumbo

Now available on consignment, a circa 1980s Lowden G7 in its original natural finish.

This stunning jumbo sized flat top was made in the Yairi factory in Japan, featuring a solid cedar top, laminated ovangkol back and sides, and a mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard and bridge. This example also has a factory fitted piezo pickup, hence the controls and single piece saddle.

The guitar has been well played with some fade to the original finish, and some wear to the frets. It currently plays very well with a low action up and down the neck, and there are no cracks or repairs to note. At one point there has been some sun fade on the front of the body (please see photos).
