One resistor in treble boost circuit
Now available on consignment, a pretty unusual Hofner 459TZ 6-string electric guitar from 1967 with a violin shaped hollow body similar to the Beatles era Hofner bass.
Made in Germany, this guitar features a built-in fuzz and treble boost circuits making for a cool array of sounds. It also features a tremolo, and a 25.25" scale length.
This particular example retains all of its original parts and is in fully functional condition.
Work to the guitar includes:
- One silicon resistor was replaced in the treble boost circuit recently by Earthling Designs, the original is included.
- The whole guitar has been oversprayed with clear long ago.
Comes with a non-original but era correct case.
