Now available on consignment is this vintage 1974 Guild S-100 in its original cherry finish!

The S100 was first introduced in 1970 by Guild, designed to compete with the Gibson SG model. This particular example has had some mods over the years, coming from its same owner of 40+ years.

Work to the guitar includes:

- The original pickups have been replaced with 2x Dimarzio Super Distortion pickups.

- The original Guild bigsby was replaced long ago with a nashville style bridge and stoptail piece.

Otherwise this example retains its original parts and there is some play wear of course on the body and the neck. The original frets are worn, however play up and down the neck with no issues.

A fantastic playing and sounding Guild from the mid 70s, includes its original Guild case in fair condition.
