Now available on consignment, an original 1956 Gretsch 6151 amplifier.
This is a small, low wattage practice amplifier from the 1950s, similar to the tweed Fender Champ of the same era, with 5 watts powering an 8" Rola speaker dating to the 45th week of 1956. The power transformer has been replaced at some point to 240v with a 3-prong cord for practical use in Australia. The tubes have all been replaced as well, and the amplifier is in good working condition.
A great sounding small amplifier for home, or in the studio.
