Now available on consignment, a fantastic example of an original single cut 1961 Gretsch 6120 Chet Atkins!
This particular example remains in excellent condition showing typical signs of play wear throughout including a few dings and some fretwear mostly in the cowboy chord area.
At one point the guitar has had a professional neck set to improve the 12th fret action and playability.
Features include its 2x Filtertron 'PAF' humbucking pickups, a laminate maple body, maple neck, ebony fingerboard, and a Bigsby B6. This year commonly features the thinner body at 2 &1/4" down from 2 &7/8" from the previous year.
A fantastic sounding all original example of a 6120 that plays great too! Includes its original hardshell case that is in fair but solid condition.
