Gibson SG Standard 1974 Walnut

Now available, a 1974 Gibson SG Standard in its original walnut finish with Bigsby.

This example is in good condition for over 50 years old, having been well used but also cared for. The guitar remains in original condition except for later Gibson replacement tuners, and a recent professional re-fret with a new nut that have little play wear. The original finish is in good condition, and the chrome on the hardware has some pitting. There is some clear lacquer over the switch ring, and pickup rings (removable).

The guitar is free from any breaks or repairs, and has a straight neck with a low easy playing action. The wiring harness appears untouched with the pots dating to the early part of 1974, and both Tar-back Gibson humbuckers have never been out of the guitar.
