Gibson SG Special 1969 Cherry

Now available on consignment, an original 1969 Gibson SG Special in its original cherry finish!

This stunning example dates to very early in 1969, still having the 1-piece mahogany neck, smoother neck heel, and no headstock volute.

As you can see this SG Special is in great shape for over 50 years old, with some light dings here or there, amd no finish checking whatsoever. There are NO breaks or repairs, and the original frets play surprisingly well despite some play wear thats pretty even from frets 1-12.

The only replaced part to note is an exact period compensated wraparound tailpiece from the late 60s. Otherwise the guitar retains all its original parts including both of its original soapbar p90s, batwing guard and plastics, and the wiring harness appears all untouched.
