Now available on consignment, an original 1969 Gibson SG Special in its original cherry finish!

This well played example dates to later in 1969, having the 3-piece mahogany neck, no headstock volute, and no made in USA stamp. As you can see the guitar has been well played over the years with significant fade and checking to the finish.

Work to the guitar includes:

- The input jack has been replaced, and there is a repaired crack near the input jack. There are no other breaks or repairs.

- The tuners have been replaced with modern Kluson style units, extra screw holes were drilled at the time.

- The bridge studs have been filled and redrilled to accommodate a roller bridge, studs, and thumbwheels.

Otherwise the guitar retains most of its original parts including both of its soapbar p90s, batwing guard and plastics, and the wiring harness remains except the input jack.

A great way to get into a 60s Gibson SG! Includes a hardcase.
