Now available, a very cool Gibson SG Special from around 1962-63 that has been professionally refinished in Pelham Blue and converted to standard specs!

This guitar it seems long ago was made to look like a Les Paul/SG Standard of the same era. This includes being routed for humbuckers, trapezoid fingerboard inlays replacing the dot inlays, and an abr1 bridge and tailpiece replacing the wraparound bridge.

No original parts remain except for the husk itself. Currently installed is a set of Slider Pickups '59 replica PAFs, and some newer aged hardware to match the vibe of the guitar. There is a newer wiring harness from the 90s with 4x 500k CTS pots.

The original brazillian rosewood fingerboard has been refretted long ago with wear showing, the guitar still plays up and down the neck with no issues. At some stage before the refinish there was a well done headstock repair, and the serial is partially visible.

A fantastic sounding original early 60s Gibson SG thats within reach. Includes a modern Gibson SG case.
