Now available, a 1963 Gibson SG Junior in its original cherry finish.
This is the first year this body shape received the SG name, being labelled a 'Les Paul' from '61-'63.
This example remains in pretty good condition really, showing signs of play wear to the back of the neck, and some light finish checking all over. The guitar has had NO breaks or repairs to the body or neck, there are some cracks to three corners of the pickguard.
The guitar retains all of its original parts right down to its original tuner tips, frets and nut which are in great condition with some wear in the first few frets.
The original dogear p90 is strong, with all of the electronics being fully functional and remaining untouched. The neck is straight, with the guitar having a low easy playing action. All of the plastics and hardware remain original including the brass post strip kluson deluxe tuners. The wrap-around tailpiece has been swapped out for a compensated mojo-axe replacement for better intonation, the original tailpiece is included.
A great example of a Gibson SG Junior with a nice medium chunky C shaped neck.
Includes its original soft case.
