Just traded in, a 1971 Gibson SG Custom in its original Walnut finish with the last of the batwing pickguards and 3x patent # pickups.

This particular example has been well played and despite a few modifications it has survived with NO neck breaks or repairs.

Work to the guitar includes:

- Plugged stoptail stud holes by Sydney luthier Piers Crocker.

- A reissue gold plated Maestro Vibrola and reissue abr1 have been installed.

- Another pickguard was installed to cater 2 pickups, the original middle pickup has been reinstalled with the original 3ply white pickguard.

Other than mentioned this guitar retains its all 3 original patent # pickups, its original pots and wiring harness, and its original plastics.

The original fretless wonder frets are very worn, however play up and down the neck. Recently setup by Piers Crocker, includes its original case with a broken latch.
