Gibson Les Paul Standard 1978 Tobacco Sunburst

Now available on consignment, a 1978 Gibson Les Paul Standard in its original tobacco sunburst finish.

This example has been well played, with wear to the chrome parts and some buckle rash on the back and wear on the body/neck.

Work to the guitar includes:

• Replaced jackplate, and strap buttons
• Period correct replacement neck pickup (Tim Shaw Patent #).
• Replaced nut

Otherwise this guitar features all stock cream plastics, 2x Patent # 'Tim Shaw' pickups, and has no breaks or repairs. The original frets play well despite some wear, and it has recently been setup with 10-46 strings.
