Gibson Les Paul Junior 1959 Cherry

Now available on consignment, a great playing example of an original 1959 Gibson Les Paul Junior double cut in cherry!

This example is largely original with some minor changes, however still retains its original cherry finish, and most of its original parts. Of course it features a fantastic feeling medium chunky '59 neck profile as well.

Changes to the guitar include:

- The tone pot has been replaced.

- The bridge studs have been replaced.

- Replaced jack-plate, there are filled screw holes from another plate.

- The side dots on the fingerboard have been replaced, there is a plug at the lower strap button.

Otherwise this guitar still retains its original dogear P90, pots and capacitor, as well as its original aluminium nickel plated wraparound tailpiece, brass post strip kluson deluxe tuners, truss rod cover, knobs, and tortoiseshell pickguard.

A well played junior with a great sounding vintage P90! Includes a 70s Gibson case.
