Gibson Les Paul Custom 1981 White

Now available, a 1981 Gibson Les Paul Custom in its original white finish.

This is a great example of an early 80s Les Paul Custom, showing signs of light play wear and yellowing to the original white finish. There is some wear on the gold parts, as well as some light buckle rash on the back and some hanger rash on the headstock, however the guitar presents in great shape overall remaining in entirely original condition.

The guitar retains both original 'Tim Shaw' patent number pickups with their ink stamps, the 'flip out' Gibson tuners, and the 'posy-lock' strap buttons which are often switched out in this period. Thanks to a recent setup with 10s the guitar plays great with plenty of life in the original frets, there is a decent amount of play wear on frets 1-12 however they play well.
