Gibson J-45 60s Reissue 2003 Cherry

Now available on consignment, a 2003 Gibson J45 '60’s Style' reissue in Wine Red. 

This is a special order from Acoustic Centre Melbourne, with full provenance included in the case candy, Gibson has since reissued this model, but this is an earlier version of this model, done with a white guard with the later “Dot” logo. 

Finished with standard Gibson acoustic materials, Spruce top, Mahogany back & sides, and a Rosewood fingerboard. Cosmetically this guitar is borderline untouched, having spent a fair amount of time in the case, there is one minor finish check on the treble side of the bridge, and a few teensy scuffs in the finish, but you have to seek them out to find them. 

Acoustically this is quite a rich and sonorous guitar, with plenty of bass and treble response, playing clearly and sweetly, as befitting a Montana made Gibson. 

Freshly set up and strung with 12’s, it includes its original hard case with aforementioned case candy.
