Now available, an original 1962 Gibson ES355TDSV in cherry.

This is a fantastic 100% original example of an original early 60s Gibson ES355, featuring gold plated hardware including a factory sideways vibrola, and the stereo input with varitone switch. The guitar retains all of its original hardware including the original ABR-1 bridge with nylon saddles, and patent pend. Grover tuners.

Other specifications include 5-ply binding on a laminated maple body, and a mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard/block inlays. This particular example features a 'PAF' pickup in the bridge position, and a 'PAF' spec patent # in the neck position (same pickup however the sticker transitions in 62-63). Both pickups are unopened, and have never been off the original wiring harness which is all untouched.

As you can see the guitar is in fantastic cosmetic condition, with the only things to note being a small ding on the bass side headstock wing, and a few light dings on the back of the neck and body. The original cherry finish is vibrant and in good condition except for some light checking all over the guitar.

A rare opportunity to get a clean all original example of this model in Australia.

Includes its original brown Lifton case in equally clean condition.
