Now available on consignment, a stunning original 1967 Gibson ES 345TDC in its original cherry finish!
This late 60s ES345 has been well played evidently, however still retains its original finish and all important parts.
Work to the guitar includes:
- Grover tuners installed at one point, original klusons are reinstalled with conversion bushings.
- The guitar has been rewired Mono with the varitone disengaged like an ES335.
- The neck pickup had one coil replaced, the original is included and needs to be rewound.
- At one point a stoptail mod was added, this has since been removed with the holes plugged. Currently a reissue Maestro vibrola is installed.
- A medium jumbo refret with some wear, plays with a low action and a straight neck.
- There is an added dowel at the neck joint under the strap button due to the neck becoming loose at some point, it's rock solid with no signs of movement.
- The switch tip and strap buttons are replaced.
Otherwise this guitar retains its original parts including the abr1 bridge with nylon saddles, double line gold plated kluson deluxe tuners, both patent # pickups, and the original wiring harness with 4x pots dating to the 28th week of '66. It's currently strung with 11-49 strings and plays very nicely thanks to a recent setup.
Includes its original case in rough condition, and another hardcase (original choke and pot covers included).
