Now available, a 1966 Gibson ES335TD in its original Tobacco Sunburst finish.

Here we have a very clean and pristine ES-335 with the trapeze tailpiece, complete with chrome hardware, nylon saddles, the 1&9/16" nut width, and block markers on the fingerboard.

This guitar has had no modifications aside from straplocks, and a changed switch tip. Cosmetically the guitar is in great condition with some lacquer checking all over, and some scrapes mainly on the back of the body. It retains its original frets with some light wear in the first few positions, however they play very well with a low action a 10-46 strings.

The only curiosity on this instrument is on the headstock. For reasons only known to Gibson Inc. this 335 left the factory without its pearl 'crown' headstock inlay. The headstock appears to be just like an ES330, however we have gone right over the finish on the whole guitar and its exactly as it left the factory in our opinion without any breaks or repairs.

Either way, this doesn’t affect the tone or playability of this guitar, both of which are lovely. The guitar has a very comfortable neck, and the original unopened patent no. pickups are well matched sounding sweet and bright.

Recently setup instore, this 335 is ready to play!

Includes its original Gibson case.
