Now available, a 1964 Gibson ES335TD in its original sunburst finish.

This is a great original example of a 1964 Gibson ES335, featuring the medium neck profile, and the desirable factory stop-tail piece (never had a Bigsby fitted). This particular example has been in Australia for quite some time.

Specifications include a double bound laminated maple body with maple/mahogany centre-block, a mahogany neck with Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, and block inlays. Both early patent # pickups remain original, though the covers have been on and off, and the wiring loom remains original.

The only changes to this guitar are a fairly recent professional re-fret and new nut, and Grover tuners were fitted at one point however exact period early 60s double ring/single line tuners are now back on. Otherwise the guitar retains all of its original plastics and hardware, including the nickel plated wired ABR-1 bridge, thumbwheels, aluminium stop-tail piece, studs, screws, and strap buttons.

The guitar presents in overall good shape, having some nice finish checking all over and a decent amount of play wear on the back of the neck and body. Despite the play wear the guitar has NO breaks or repairs. The frets play very well and show little play wear, and the guitar has been recently setup instore with 10s.

A well played and original example of '64 Gibson ES335!.

Includes a period 60s Lifton case with yellow interior.
