Fender Vibrolux Reverb 1975

Now available on consignment, a 1975 Fender Vibrolux Reverb. 

This amp is a well-used but great example of a early to mid-‘70’s Silverface Fender amp, featuring 35 watts, 2x10" speakers, the standard layout of non-vibrato & vibrato channels, bright switches, and onboard reverb, along with the reasonable amount of servicing and modification for an amp of this age.

Work to this amp includes installation of an Australian-voltage power transformer, a few changed capacitors, installation of two late ‘90’s Jensen P10R “greenback” speakers, a new foot-switch, and the installing of 4 dolly wheels. 

Cosmetically, this amp is in rather good condition, the Tolex shows scuffs and scars, though none very large, and someone has done a little painting over the exposed cab in those sections. The grille cloth is in good shape, with only one or two minor tears. One witches hat knob is missing it’s silver dish, and all show a fair amount of weathering, but again nothing considerable with regards to the age of the amp. 

All in all this is a great amplifier with plenty of life in it, recently serviced by The Guitar Amp Tech.
