Reissue tuners, replaced string tree, refret and new nut.

Just in on consignment, an early example of a series 2 Fender Thinline Telecaster in its original factory black finish. This example being a first year model from 1972, with a pair of Seth Lover designed humbucking pickups.

This particular example has been well played and has a few modifications:

- At one point schaller tuners were installed, there are currently reissue F tuners installed with conversion bushings.

- The string tree and one string ferrule from the body has been replaced. The switch tip has been replaced, original in the case.

- The fingerboard has been shaved down during a past refret and was fully refinished, some photos are attached showing the condition.

Otherwise the guitar features all of its original parts with the pots dating to the 18th week of '72 inline with the pickups and neck-date of the same era.

A fantastic sounding early thinline telecaster in a custom colour, includes a later 70s hardcase with an early 70s hangtag.
