Fender Telecaster Thinline 1969 Sunburst Custom Order

Heres a guitar you dont see everyday, a mid 1969 Fender Telecaster Thinline in its original 3-tone sunburst finish! For this model sunburst was a custom order much like the custom colours at the time, and this was ordered to Australia new.

Work to the guitar includes:

- Medium jumbo refret with a new nut, light clear overspray on the fingerboard.

- Replaced volume pot, added ground wire under bridge plate.

- The neck pickup appears to have been rewound, and there was some shielding in the pickup cavities that is now removed.

Otherwise this thinline retains all of its original hardware, plastics and electronics minus the volume pot. The body finish shows some finish checking from 50+ years of use, however is in overall great condition.

A great playing and sounding vintage telecaster, comes with its original Stamford import case.
