Now available on consignment, a left handed 1967 Fender Telecaster that has been refinished in an aged Gold.
This lightweight left handed 60s Telecaster still retains most of its original parts. The body has been refinished with some mild sanding, however the routes all remain original and the body edges are sharp. The neck finish and decal remain original on both sides of the headstock, however the back of the neck has been nicely refinished.
Other work to the guitar includes:
- The pickguard is a 3-ply parchment replacement that fits well.
- The bridge saddles are modern replacements.
Otherwise the guitar retains all of its original hardware minus some pickguard screws and the fore-mentioned pickguard. The original pickups are both healthy and untouched, with the CTS pots dating to the 17th week of 1966. The original jack, switch and capacitor remain as well. The original frets are worn, however the guitar still plays well up and down the neck.
A rare opportunity to own a left handed 1960s Telecaster in Australia.
Includes its original left handed Fender hard-case.
