Now available on consignment, an original 1967 Fender Telecaster in its original blonde finish with maple cap fingerboard!
This particular example as you can see is in good shape, featuring the nitrocellulose lacquer finish and transition headstock logo. The guitar has been well looked after, the only replaced parts are the bridge saddles, otherwise all other parts remain original. There are bumps and bruises on the body, and some finish checking on both the body and neck as well as some fade to the clearcoat on the body.
The original hardware has some mild tarnish, which matches the clean original white 3-ply pickguard. Both original pickups are healthy and balanced, and the guitar has standard telecaster wiring with some solder touchup on the volume pot. Both pots date to the 9th week of 1966, and this example still retains all cloth wiring. The original frets do have some wear, however they play well up and down the neck.
A fantastic original example of a late 60s maple cap Fender Telecaster!
Includes a period 60s black tolex Fender.
