Fender Telecaster 1966 Maple Cap Neck

Now available, a 1966 Fender Telecaster in its original blonde finish with a maple cap neck.

This particular example features all the early CBS specifications including a nitro finish, transition logo, and double line Kluson deluxe tuners.

Work to the guitar includes:

• The neck has had clear overspray over the original finish/original decal.
• A neck position humbucker route has been professionally plugged and repaired.
• Both pickups and the pickguard have been replaced with parts from circa. 1969/70
• An older medium jumbo re-fret with plenty of life and a replacement nut.
• The bridge saddles have been replaced, as has the tone pot.

Otherwise the guitar retains its original finish, and most of its original hardware minus the bridge saddles. The original volume pot dates to the 34th week of '66, and the original switch and capacitor remain.
