Fender Telecaster 1965/66 Natural Refinish

Now available on consignment, a 1966 Fender Telecaster refinished to natural. 

The telecaster is about as ubiquitous as an electric guitar gets, therefore we shan’t waste time on padding and get to the point. 

This guitar has seen a long and very active life, it is player grade and extensively modified, the modifications to this guitar are as follows:

• Replaced pickguard and screws, saddles changed to compensated brass barrels
• Switch, pots, knobs, and jack replaced, pickups swapped for a set of Van Zandt’s,
• A plugged mini switch near the controls, previous route for a humbucker in the neck position (thanks Keith..), and an older natural body refinish.

Aside from this admittedly hefty list, it retains a period set of double line Kluson tuners, string tree, and bridge plate! A 1965 body and L neckplate, and a 1966 neck with its original finish and decal and an older refret.

Most importantly, despite the changes, this guitar is solid as a rock, rings like a bell, and is very comfortable to play. Its resonance and melodious qualities are immediately apparent, and it’s a genuinely wonderful guitar to play.
