Now available, on consignment, a 1957 Fender Telecaster with a professional body refinish in blonde.
This example we brought into Australia earlier this year, at the time we commissioned Piers Crocker to perform a re-fret with vintage tall frets, and Carson Hess to perform a lightly aged blonde refinish on the body (no additional routes or sanding to the body). It features an ash body, a soft 'V' 1-piece maple neck, and both original body (5-57) and neck dates (6-57).
Other work to the guitar includes:
Otherwise the guitar retains its original neck finish and decal with no overspray, and most of the original parts. The original hardware all remains, as does the original 1-ply pickguard, knobs and switch tip. The original pickups are in place, and the wiring remains mostly original with exception of the fore-mentioned volume pot being a possible period replacement.
A fantastic player grade 50s white guard Fender Telecaster that's ready to play thanks to a fresh re-fret.
Includes a late 1950s tweed case and original bridge cover.
