Fender Super Reverb 1965

Now available on consignment, an original 1965 Fender Super Reverb amplifier.

This amp is a well loved example of a “blackface” mid ‘60’s style export model Fender Super Reverb, featuring a 45 watt output powering 4x 10” speakers, across the regular two channels: vibrato and normal. 

Cosmetically this amp shows signs of it’s 60 years of service, with a few scuffs and scratches, some knobs missing their silver dishes. Most notably there is some damage on the bottom of the cabinet where there is no tolex present. Two sets of dolly wheels have also been installed at some point, but are now removed. Despite this the grille cloth remains in great condition, as does the badge, handle, and faceplate. 

Electronically this amp has had a few modifications, the most obvious being 3x late 60s replacement Fender Musical Instruments speakers from the 70’s, aside from this it has had a few electrolytic capacitors replaced and a few tubes changed out. No foot switch is included.
