Fender Stratocaster Plus Red 1987

Now available on consignment, a first year example of the Fender Stratocaster 'Plus' in its original lipstick red finish.

This example comes from the first year of manufacture of this model, 1987, and features 3x gold lace sensor pickups.

Other specifications of this model include a 2-point synchronised tremolo unit (vs the vintage 6 screws), a roller nut, and locking sperzal tuners to improve tuning stability with tremolo use.

The guitar does have some dings and play wear from being a working guitar, and there is some fret wear/divoting in the first few frets from chords. The guitar plays well with a low action and no dead spots, and is ready to play with a fresh set of 10-46 strings.

Includes a modern Fender case with original tremolo arm.
