Fender Stratocaster 1968 w Stamford Case

Now available, a clean 1968 Fender Stratocaster in its original 3-tone sunburst finish.

This example still features the earlier cloth wiring, and nitrocellulose lacquer finish on the neck. These specifications change only a few months later. The guitar presents in complete 100% original condition. The original frets do have play wear, especially in the first few frets, however the guitar still plays up and down the neck without any issues.

All of the original hardware and plastics remain, as do all of the electronics. The 3x original grey bottom pickups date to September, and the CTS pots date to the 18th week of '66. The pickups and wiring are all untouched including the green ceramic capacitor only seen in this year, and 3-way switch.
