Now available on consignment, a player grade 1966 Fender Stratocaster.

This guitar is a parts-caster with an August '65 neck with the small headstock, and an early '66 body, neckplate, pots, and pickups. The body has been sanded down and refinished multiple times looking at the cavities and body thickness, however it is free from any routes. Here is the full rundown:

  • The neck retains its untouched original finish and decal, having a nice worn in feel from decades of play. A medium jumbo refret was performed at some point, and the nut was shimmed.
  • The volume pot has been replaced, and the switch to a 5-way/switch tip.
  • The bridge and neck pickup have been wax potted with shielding around the coils, the middle pickup remains original.
  • 1x bridge saddle has been replaced, the knobs, and the pickguard/screws are replacements.

Otherwise the guitar retains period 60s Fender parts including the CTS tone pots dating to the 49th week of '65, and all 3x pickups dating to early 1966. The guitar retains genuine 60s hardware including the tremolo plate, block, 5x original pat. pend saddles, jack plate, neckplate, and double line Kluson Deluxe tuners.

A fantastic opportunity to get a great playing mid 60s Fender Stratocaster!

Includes a hardcase and reissue tremolo arm.
