Now available, a 1961 Fender Stratocaster in its original 3-tone sunburst finish with slab rosewood fingerboard.

This fantastic example of a slab-board Fender Stratocaster remains in 100% original condition, having recently come from a long term owner on the east coast of the US.

As you can see the guitar has been played, having some buckle rash on the back of the body, some wear to the back of the neck in the first few positions, and some dings here and there. The original 3-tone sunburst finish remains vibrant on this example, with no signs of touchup or overspray.

All of the plastics and hardware remain original, including the 3-ply nitrate celluloid pickguard (cracked at the horn), and the original backplate and screws. The 3x original black bottom pickups are healthy and untouched, as is the wiring harness with all 3x Stackpole pots dating to the 23rd week of 1961.

The original frets play surprisingly great as-is, with some wear to note in the first few positions. Its currently setup with 10-46 strings and a low action.

A stunning example of an original 1961 Fender Stratocaster that plays and sounds as good as it looks!

Includes its original brown tolex case, bridge cover, and tremolo arm.
