Fender Precision Bass 1973 Sunburst

Now available on consignment, a 1973 Fender Precision Bass in its original 3-tone sunburst finish with rosewood fingerboard.

This particular example has been well played as you can see in the photos, however it retains its original finish on both the body and neck. The bass has had a few changes including:

• The pickup has been replaced with a passive EMG Geezer split-coil pickup
• The pots/wiring have been replaced with modern components.
• The pickguard has been replaced, the original tortoiseshell pickguard is included.
• The tug bar was moved to above the pickguard at some point.
• A professional refret and new nut have been installed at some point.

Otherwise the original finish is untouched on both the body and neck, and all of the original hardware remains. The bass is currently setup with flat wounds and a medium action with plenty of life in the frets.
