Fender Mustang 1964 Red

Now available, an original 1964 Fender Mustang in its original mustang red finish.

This particular example has been well played with tonnes of finish checking and wear. It features an 'A' neck width and the 24" scale length, as well as a brazillian rosewood fingerboard with clay dots.

Work to the guitar includes:

• The pots, capacitor, and input jack have been replaced.
• The lower strap button and nut have been replaced.
• The back of the neck has been refinished, both sides of the headstock are original as is the decal.

Otherwise this guitar retains both of it original grey bobbin pickups dating to '64, as well as the hardware, pickguard, and knobs. The original frets play surprisingly well, and the guitar has recently been setup with 11s.
