Now available, a 1964 Fender Jazzmaster in its original Candy Apple Red finish with matching headstock.
This example comes from mid 1964, having a transition logo, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with 'clay' dots, and an Inca Silver undercoat.
The guitar retains nearly all of its original parts minus the tremolo arm tip. All of the hardware remains stock, and the original frets still play well. Both original grey bottom pickups remain, as well as the wiring harness with the pots dating to mid '64.
There is play wear on the neck and body to note, including a fair amount of buckle rash on the back. Its currently setup with a neck shim playing with a nice low action and 11 gauge strings.
A fantastic looking and playing example of a custom colour pre-CBS Fender Jazzmaster.
Includes its original black tolex case, bridge cover, and tremolo arm (replaced tip).
