Now available on consignment, a 1963 Fender Jazzmaster in its original 3-tone sunburst finish.
This guitar remains in mostly original condition showing plenty of play wear on the neck and body. The original frets are worn of course, however they play up and down the neck with no issues or buzzing. At some point the back of the neck and headstock has had some thin clear overspray over the original finish and decal, this has mostly worn away on the back of the neck.
The neck date is Feburary of 1963, which lines up with a body date of April. The wiring harness appears mostly untouched except for both black bottom pickups having had the leads clipped and reattached in the past, as well as extra foam added for improved adjustment. All of the hardware is correct, as are the plastics except the switch tip has been replaced.
Its currently setup with a neck shim playing with a fairly low action. Overall a nice example of a pre-CBS Fender Jazzmaster with a typical full 'C' '63 neck profile.
Includes its original white tolex case and tremolo arm.
