Now available, a 1961 Fender Jazzmaster with factory gold parts and a blonde refinish.
This is a full body and neck nitrocellulose refinish that has been nicely done. The guitar originally shipped in blonde over an ash body, with factory gold plated hardware which was a rare option at Fender in the 1960s.
The headstock retains its original decal, and most of the original parts remain including the tortoiseshell pickguard, and most of the gold hardware minus the pickguard screws.
Other work to the guitar includes:
Otherwise this guitar retains both of its original pickups (NO rewinds), and the rest of the electronics remain correct. The wiring appears all correct with the volume pot dating to the latter part of 1959, and the tone to early 1961. There is even a piece of factory tape with 'blonde & gold hardware' notated.
A rare opportunity to get a factory gold parts pre-CBS Fender Jazzmaster, includes its original brown case and original gold plated tremolo arm.
