Fender Jazzmaster 1959 Refinish

Now available, a 1959 Fender Jazzmaster that has been professionally refinished.

This is a full body and neck nitrocellulose refinish that has been nicely aged in a faded daphne blue/foam green finish. The headstock has a reproduction decal as well, and it appears this was a sunburst guitar originally looking in the cavities. The original tortoiseshell pickguard remains as well, there is a crack by the neck pickup. There is no pencilled neck date which is typical of late 1959/early 1960.

Other work to the guitar includes:

- The guitar has been refretted with slightly larger frets at some point.

- The volume and tone knobs have been replaced, and a bridge saddle has been replaced.

Otherwise this guitar retains both of its original pickups (NO rewinds), and the rest of the electronics remain original. The original 1meg pots date to the latter part of 1959, and all of the hardware remains including the original bridge.

A fantastic looking and sounding Pre-CBS Jazzmaster, includes a brown reissue hardcase and tremolo arm.
