Fender Jazz Bass 1971 Sunburst

Now available on consignment, an original 1971 Fender Jazz Bass in its original sunburst finish.

This particular example is in good shape overall, featuring a bound fingerboard with block inlays, the CBS style headstock decal, and the tortoiseshell pickguard. The neck dates to of '71. This lines up with the visible pot dates of the 15th week, and 16th week of 1971.

Nearly all of the original parts remain except for a replacement graphite nut. The original pickups remain, as does the tortoiseshell pickguard which has no cracks. The hardware is all correct for '71 including the bridge, tuners, screws, bridge plate and saddles.

This one has been recently setup with round wounds, the original frets are low, but playable up and down the neck.
