Now available on consignment, a 1963 Fender Jaguar that has been refinished in Dakota Red!
This is an older refinish, with both the body and neck having been fully refinished including the back of the neck. The headstock has a reproduction decal as well, and it appears this was a fiesta red guitar originally looking in the control cavity, and having a 3ply celluloid green pickguard.
Other work to the guitar includes:
- The pickup leads were clipped and re-attached probably at the time the refinish was performed.
- The input jack is a replacement, and there is an added ground wire over the pots.
- The strap buttons and a few screws have been replaced.
Otherwise this guitar retains both of its original pickups, and the rest of the electronics remain original minus the input jack as mentioned. The original 1meg pots date to the 20th week of '63, and all of the hardware remains including the original bridge mute.
A fantastic looking and sounding Pre-CBS Jaguar, includes a hardcase.
