Now available on consignment, a 1976 Fender Bassman 100 head and cabinet.
This amp is a fairly well used example of an export model Bassman 100, along with a period correct Fender 4x12” cab pushing out 100 watts RMS.
Modifications and repairs to this amp include replacement of the 4 6L6’s, replacement of a blown fuse, and a little gaffa tape applied to the back of the cab for Tolex protection purposes.
Cosmetically this amp shows clear signs of long, but not vicious usage, there are two tears in the cab grille cloth, two cracked knobs, and a fair few scuffs and chunks out of the Tolex, but nothing serious. The back panel of the amp itself is cracked and the Tolex is unpeeling, however this is not structurally problematic.
All in all this amp is a mostly original example of a reliable, powerful bass rig, in reasonable condition for its age, and continues to perform well. This amplifier has been recently serviced and is ready to gig!
